The new construction project of supporting schools in Guomao Area, Guandu District, has a total investment of approximately RMB 169 million, a total gross floor area of 28,248.38 square meters, and covers an area of about 57 mu. It is planned to build an 18-class primary school and a 15-class middle school. The project adopts a seismic isolation and damping design. Core seismic isolation and damping products such as rubber isolation bearings are manufactured and supplied by Yunnan Gowe Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. These high-performance products can effectively reduce the impact of earthquakes and other external forces on buildings, significantly improving seismic resistance and safety performance.
Guomao Area is a key development area in Guandu District. In recent years, as surrounding residential projects have been completed one after another and area development has accelerated, the population has continued to grow. After the school is completed, it will further improve the allocation of educational resources, meet residents’ demand for quality education, and ensure that school-age children “have schools to attend and can attend good schools.” The project started construction in April this year and was completed by the end of August. As an important livelihood project that fills the gap in educational resources in Guomao Area, after being put into use it will add a number of basic education school seats, improve residential supporting facilities, effectively alleviate the shortage of school seats in surrounding areas, and effectively meet the public’s demand for nearby enrollment.
